REVERDIR is a social impact program developed by the young innovative, social & solidarity company BIOMANITY.  It aims to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and guarantee prosperity for all and is in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, declared by the United Nations on 25 September 2015.

The heart of the project is to accelerate the ecological transition, by building an environmentally friendly, healthy, remunerative and job-creating agriculture. REVERDIR brings together citizens, members of civil society, economic actors and political decision-makers to contribute to :

  • ensure food security, improve nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture.
  • Guarantee access to water and sanitation for all and ensure sustainable management of water resources.
  • Promote sustained, shared and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all.
  • Reduce inequalities within and between countries.
  • Establish sustainable consumption and production models
  • Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts.
  • Conserve and restore terrestrial ecosystems, ensuring their sustainable use, sustainable forest management, combating desertification, halting and reversing land degradation and halting the loss of biodiversity.

the project history

2013 Jean-François DANIEL ensure the development of a social network on innovation. He gather in Paris, 12 international brilliant innovators and discover the Super Absorbent Polymer. He see this process as a way to save agricultural water and build a greener world.

2014 As petrochemical Super Absorbant is banned in agriculture, he decide to develop a 100% bio-sourced SAP, in partnership with the public company VALAGRO CARBONE RENOUVELABLE. Saiffallah BEN-YOUNES and Alexandre BOUTROS, with whom they collaborate for more than 20 years, joins him.

2015 The Super Absorbant receives the 1st Prize of AGROBIOBASE by the Industry & AgroRessources Cluster (France)

2016/2017 Faced with the environmental emergency, they create the REVERDIR project to massively disseminate innovation at the heart of farms. The goal is to accelerate the ecological transition with the 570 million farmers on the planet. REVERDIR is labeled FINTECH by the FINANCE INNOVATION World Cluster (Paris) and is selected at MEDCOP 21 by the MEDITERRANEAN HOUSE OF CLIMATE (Morocco)

2018 Launch in Tunisia with the agricultural unions of 46 African countries : 100 million farmers. REVERDIR receives the PwC LET'S GO FRANCE Trophy visionary & product of tomorrow, under the patronage of the President of the French Republic
